Coach Damon, as the kids call him, enters his first year at Heritage High School as a wrestling coach.  Coach Damon is the son of head coach, Donnie McPherson.  Damon has been involved in the sport of wrestling since the early age of 6.  He was a champion at every level that he competed at.  Damon won many youth group championships.  He was a 3 time Oregon High School State Champion and Triple Crown Winner.  Damon was a high school national champion and won a junior college national championship.  He is married to Olivia McPherson and has 5 children; 3 girls and 2 boys ranging in ages 8 to 14.

Some of his hobbies include golfing, snowboarding and producing music.  Coach Damon is very happy to be a part of the Timberwolves family and vows to do all that he can, to continue the rich tradition of wrestling that has been established with Heritage's short but successful history.
